This is really worth the read!

Warning:

1) Two guys walk in together talking low key, hidden low five.

2) Guys go separate ways. Scouting.

3) Guy approaches and weasels in on a puffy eyes wall flower and her bent ear soggy shouldered friend. Easily distracted, preoccupied, not easily remembered. (not the girls dressed to kill looking to party)

4) Conversation flow doesn't feel right. Steers clear of anything remotely appearing like a pick up line. So far away that he admits he is flawed and not a great catch.

5) Guy really, really wants to buy the girl/girls a drink for no reason. Girl gives in and when asked "would really like whatever he's having".

6) Guy hands girl an open/uncovered drink. Doesn't ask her which one she would like.

7) When the believes the girl is about to drink, he looks around for the friend he hasn't talked to since they walked in.

8) Guy seems really pleased with himself as he watches the girl down her drink. He's almost celebrating the drink with his own. Halfway throught the beer... guys not feeling so well. Not quite himself. The room seems too warm. He peers around for his friend and decides to get some air.

Punchline:

Guy was distracted when signaling his friend and soggy shouldered girl switched beers after seeing the dog ear on the label and him take a decent size drink.
